Milinda Tanner joined Total Trust Accounting Service in 2010. In addition to assisting clients with daily and monthly reconciling,  she also provides consulting and training services and handles all of Total Trust’s ALTA Best Practice Reviews.

Milinda has worked in various areas of the title insurance industry during her career. She spent her first two years as a processor/closer in a title agency, and then moved to a position as an internal auditor for a Fortune 500 title insurance underwriter.

Her relevant experience also includes being a corporate security investigator for the nation’s largest wireless carrier and an operations manager position for a high-volume title department within a law firm.

Milinda is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Institute of Internal Auditors. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Internal Auditor. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business technology management and a master’s degree in business administration, focused in accounting, from Saint Leo University.

Trish Cohen is the owner of Total Trust Accounting Service and takes pride in providing expert escrow reconciling and accounting services to Agents in the title insurance industry. She founded Total Trust Accounting Service in 2010 after recognizing the title insurance industry’s need for convenient and cost-effective outsourced accounting solutions.

Trish began her career in the title insurance industry in the late-1990s in Nashville, where she worked for a real estate closing software developer and reconciliation service company. Following that, she accepted a position in the Audit Services Department of a Fortune 500 title insurance underwriter as an Internal Auditor in the state of Alabama and the Southeast Region. She also spent more than 10 years in other senior auditing positions. Throughout her career, Trish has coached title agents across the country on how to develop strong escrow accounting and internal control systems. She also has experience investigating numerous agent defalcation cases and has provided expertise to law enforcement and legal teams during criminal cases and trials.

Trish earned an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in both Accounting and Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University.

Trish also proudly serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Empower Me Center, which serves to transform the lives of individuals with special needs through activities and opportunities for growth in a safe, secure environment while providing community education on disabilities and inclusiveness.
